What you get
Everything you need to fill a foursome
PuttPals is built around one job: getting you on a course with golfers you actually want to play with. Here is how each piece of the app does it.
Discovery that filters for the round you want
Match by play style, age, skill, and preferred tee box to find more compatible groups. Premium adds advanced discovery filters on top, so the profiles you see are the ones worth a swipe.
- Play style
- Walking, competitive
- Skill
- Handicap 10 to 18
- Preferred tee box
- Whites
- Age
- 25 to 40

A Golden Tee says you mean it
A Golden Tee is a boosted like that highlights your interest. You can also attach a short message in Club House so the other golfer knows what round you have in mind.
- Join a tee time
- 3Golden Tees
What it currently costs a free account to express interest in a tee time.
- Declined requests
- 3refunded
If a host declines your request, those 3 Golden Tees come straight back.
Club House is where the round gets planned
Once you match, the conversation moves to Club House. Free accounts get matching and direct messages; Premium unlocks the chat controls on top.
Message context
Attach a short message to a Golden Tee so your interest arrives with a reason behind it.
Read receipts
A Premium chat feature that indicates when the other person has seen your message.
Club House insights
Premium expands what you can see in Club House, including deeper visibility on your activity.
Tee Timers
Tee times are the point of the whole thing. Free accounts spend Golden Tees to raise their hand; Premium accounts can host and run the group themselves.
| Capability | Free | Premium |
|---|---|---|
| Express interest in a tee time | 3 Golden Tees per request | Included |
| Refund if the host declines | All 3 returned | All 3 returned |

Travel Mode

- Travel Mode
- The city you are visiting
Switch it on before a trip and your swipes, matches and distances follow you. Switch it off and everything snaps back to your home area.
