At PuttPals, our goal is to create the world's best community for golfers to connect, play, network, learn, and build meaningful relationships through the game of golf.

These Community Guidelines are designed to protect the safety, integrity, and enjoyment of the PuttPals community.

Failure to comply with these Guidelines may result in:

• Content removal
• Feature restrictions
• Account suspension
• Permanent account termination
• Referral to law enforcement when appropriate

1. BE AUTHENTIC

PuttPals is built on trust.

Users must represent themselves honestly.

You must:

• Use your own photographs
• Use your real identity
• Use your actual age
• Provide accurate golf information
• Accurately represent your handicap

You may not:

• Use fake photos
• Use AI-generated people as profile photos
• Create parody accounts
• Impersonate another person
• Pretend to be a golf professional if you are not
• Misrepresent tournament results

2. RESPECT OTHER GOLFERS

Golf is built on integrity and respect.

Treat all users respectfully both on and off the platform.

Prohibited behavior includes:

• Harassment
• Bullying
• Intimidation
• Threats
• Hate speech
• Discrimination
• Unwanted repeated contact
• Retaliation

This applies to:

• Messages
• Comments
• Clubhouse discussions
• Events
• Golf rounds
• Tournament participation

3. NO HATE OR DISCRIMINATION

PuttPals has zero tolerance for content targeting individuals based on:

• Race
• Color
• National origin
• Ethnicity
• Religion
• Disability
• Gender
• Gender identity
• Sexual orientation
• Age
• Veteran status

Content promoting hatred or violence will result in immediate enforcement action.

4. KEEP IT APPROPRIATE

PuttPals is a golf networking platform.

Content must remain appropriate.

Prohibited content includes:

• Pornography
• Explicit sexual content
• Graphic nudity
• Sexual solicitation
• Fetish content
• Exploitative content

Users may not use PuttPals for adult services.

5. NO SCAMS OR FRAUD

Users may not:

• Request money from other users
• Run investment schemes
• Conduct raffles without approval
• Promote pyramid schemes
• Sell counterfeit goods
• Mislead users for financial gain

Any attempt to defraud users may result in permanent removal.

6. NO SPAM

Users may not:

• Send mass messages
• Advertise products
• Promote unrelated businesses
• Post repetitive content
• Use automated messaging systems

PuttPals exists for golfers, not marketers.

7. COURSE RESPECT

PuttPals encourages users to respect golf courses.

Users may not:

• Damage course property
• Vandalize facilities
• Violate course rules
• Harass course staff
• Interfere with other golfers

Reports of severe misconduct may result in account termination.

8. TOURNAMENT INTEGRITY

Golf depends on honesty.

Users may not:

• Manipulate handicaps
• Falsify scores
• Cheat in tournaments
• Submit false results
• Misrepresent competitive achievements

PuttPals reserves the right to remove tournament-related content that appears misleading.

9. PROTECT MINORS

PuttPals takes protection of minors seriously.

Users may not:

• Exploit minors
• Harass minors
• Solicit minors
• Share inappropriate content involving minors

Any suspected exploitation of minors may be reported to appropriate authorities.

10. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

Users may report:

• Harassment
• Fraud
• Fake profiles
• Dangerous conduct
• Community Guideline violations

Reports should be made in good faith.

False reports may themselves constitute a violation.

11. ENFORCEMENT

PuttPals may take action including:

• Warnings
• Content removal
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent bans
• Device bans
• Legal action

Enforcement decisions are made at PuttPals' sole discretion.
